A rare grape to find growing in Virginia, this Austrian varietal (Also sometimes known by the German name of 'Lemberger') has found a home in both of our vineyard sites. 2021 is our first release of this unique red varietal, and it's a stunner. Light to medium body, with very fine tannins and a ripe red fruit flavor (think cranberries and cherries), balanced out by bold acidity and a savory baking spice characteristic.
